Astana. December 6. KAZAKHSTAN TODAY - The thresholds for the minimum adequacy of pension savings for 2025 will remain at the same level, as reported by the ENPF press service.
The sizes of the minimum adequacy thresholds have not changed and remain at the level established for 2024. It should be noted that in 2024, the size of the minimum adequacy threshold was also not increased," the fund stated.
The minimum adequacy threshold refers to the minimum amount of pension savings (accumulated through mandatory pension contributions) required to ensure a monthly pension that is not lower than the minimum pension amount. This is an estimated sum of pension savings determined by socio-economic indicators, as well as projected calculations of future pension contributions (based on the minimum wage) and investment returns. In other words, the minimum adequacy threshold is the minimum that must remain in the account so that the contributor, upon reaching retirement age, receives pension payments (considering the minimum basic pension payment) of at least the minimum pension amount.
When calculating the minimum adequacy threshold for 2025, the following socio-economic indicators for 2025 were used:

The minimum adequacy thresholds for 2025 regarding the early use of pension savings through mandatory pension contributions, calculated according to the methodology for determining the minimum adequacy threshold of pension savings:
