Astana. November 21. KAZAKHSTAN TODAY - The Senate of Kazakhstan has approved the law "On Guaranteed Transfers from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2027," reported the press service of the upper chamber.
According to the law, 2 trillion tenge will be withdrawn from the National Fund to the republican budget annually in 2025, 2026, and 2027.
The law also establishes the threshold price for oil for revenues to the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan from oil sector organizations for 2025-2027:
The guaranteed transfer from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be directed to the republican budget to cover expenses for fulfilling state obligations," the Senate clarified.
It is expected that the adoption of the law will help ensure the balance of the republican budget and implement the stabilization function of the National Fund.
Earlier in November, it was reported that Kazakhstan's national debt increased by 6.5%, reaching $63.7 billion.
The National Bank previously stated that withdrawals from the National Fund exceed revenues. The balance of revenues and withdrawals remains negative.
