Astana. December 2. KAZAKHSTAN TODAY - The exchange rate for purchasing US dollars at several currency exchange points in Kazakhstan has reached 530 tenge per dollar, reports the agency's correspondent.
According to data from the website Kurs.kz as of 14:18 on December 2, the US dollar is being sold at a rate of 530 tenge per dollar at various exchange points in Astana. The purchasing rate stands at 520 tenge per dollar.
As of now, the euro is being sold at a rate of 555 tenge per euro and bought for 545 tenge per euro.
Previously, as of 11:00 on December 2, the purchasing rate for dollars at exchange points in Almaty ranged from 516 to 518 tenge, while the selling rate varied from 518.5 to 521.8 tenge.
It is worth noting that at the end of November, the tenge weakened by 5%. From November 15 to 28, the National Bank conducted currency interventions, with the total volume of currency sold exceeding 1 billion US dollars by the end of the month.
