The deputies of the Astana city maslikhat have approved the budget for the years 2025-2027. The decision was made during a regular session chaired by Erlan Kanalimov, as reported by IA “NewTimes.kz”.
It is noted that the city's budget has been formed considering the current socio-economic forecasts.
The total revenue over the three years is projected to be 2 trillion 977 billion 743.5 million tenge, including:
The main sources of income are generated from corporate income tax (CIT) and individual income tax (IIT) — each contributing 30%, along with social tax (23%).
Expenditures and Transfers
The majority of the budget will be allocated to improving the quality of life for residents.
In 2025, it is planned to withdraw 74 billion tenge from the republican budget.
Targeted transfers of 142 billion tenge have been allocated for the city's development.
Programs for Youth
In addition to budgetary issues, the deputies discussed the enhancement of youth policy, focusing on the active involvement of young people in the work of centers, associations, and foundations. It is expected that these measures will contribute to the increased effectiveness of implemented programs.
The approved budget aims to further develop the capital and improve the living standards of its residents.
