Starting from January 1, 2025, changes to the minimum pension and wage levels, along with various other social indicators, will come into effect in Kazakhstan, as reported by IA "NewTimes.kz".
According to the republican budget for 2025-2027, the minimum wage will rise to 85,000 tenge.
The monthly calculation indicator (MCP) will also increase, reaching 3,932 tenge, which is 240 tenge higher than in 2024, when its value was 3,692 tenge. Meanwhile, the minimum pension amount in 2025 will exceed 62,000 tenge, and the subsistence minimum will be set at 46,228 tenge.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the subsistence minimum was established at 42,108 tenge.
These changes are part of the government's social policy aimed at improving the living standards of citizens and supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population.
