A 110-year-old grandmother from Kazakhstan has received new identification documents.

Казахстанская бабушка отметила свой 110-летний юбилей и получила новые документы.

This year, over 20 citizens in Kazakhstan have been documented as reaching their centennial milestone. The oldest among them is Onai Bekbaeva, who has turned 110 years old. She resides in the Zhetyssay district of Turkestan region, according to Polisia.kz.

Recently, the grandmother independently approached the migration service to obtain her documents. Police officers, just before the New Year, presented the region's oldest resident with a new identity card and passport, visiting her at home. Although the grandmother was feeling unwell when the officers arrived, her children welcomed the guests.

She has three daughters and two sons, who, in turn, are raising 33 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Onai-apa's sons and daughters expressed their gratitude to the law enforcement for their attention and wished them success in their challenging work.
