Serik Zhumangarin will lead the Ministry of National Economy.

During a meeting of the Mazhilis Committee on Economic Reform and Regional Development, the nomination of Zhumangarin Serik Makashevich for the position of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy was approved, as reported by the parliament.

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev relieved Nurlan Baibazarov from his position as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy.
