A resident of the Munaily district worked as a Kazakh language and literature teacher at a secondary school since 2012. However, in 2024, she received a termination notice due to a fraudulent higher education diploma.
“The state archive indicated the absence of information regarding the plaintiff's relevant education in response to a request from the Education Department,” the court clarified.
The educator disagreed with her dismissal and appealed the order. It turned out that from 2009 to 2012, she had indeed studied at the Shymkent Social-Pedagogical University in the correspondence department.
“The secondary school’s request to the state archive did not contain sufficient information, which is why an erroneous certificate was issued,” the court explained.
The termination order was deemed unlawful. The teacher was reinstated in her previous position, and more than 2.8 million tenge was awarded to her by the Department for the period of forced absence.
