Belgrade. November 18. KAZAKHSTAN TODAY - The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has arrived on an official visit to Serbia. At Belgrade Airport, he was greeted by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, as reported by the Akorda press service.
During the flight over Serbian airspace, the Kazakh president's aircraft was escorted by fighter jets of the host country's air force.
The central focus of the visit will be high-level negotiations. The presidents will discuss the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade-economic, transport-logistical, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Following the negotiations, a number of bilateral agreements are expected to be signed. A meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, is also scheduled.
