Astana. December 2. KAZAKHSTAN TODAY - The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Kazakhstan, Zhang Xiao, as reported by Akorda.
According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan and China have long been connected by strong ties of friendship and good neighborliness. The parties continue to deepen cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.
The President noted that the relationship between Kazakhstan and China is dynamic and multifaceted today: an active political dialogue is maintained, trade and economic ties are strengthening, cultural exchanges are taking place, the number of educational programs and scientific projects is increasing, and close cooperation in the field of security is ongoing, especially in the fight against the "three forces of evil."
Furthermore, the countries are actively interacting on the international stage within the frameworks of the UN, SCO, and CICA, as well as in the "Central Asia - China" format.
"The relationship between Kazakhstan and China can be described as exemplary," emphasized the head of Kazakhstan.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and confirmed Beijing's commitment to the further progressive development of comprehensive strategic partnership.
The head of state highly appreciated the personal contribution of the ambassador to strengthening the ties of friendship and good neighborliness, as well as the successful development of Kazakhstan-China cooperation in all areas. In recognition of Zhang Xiao's merits, the President of Kazakhstan awarded him the "Dostyk" Order of the II degree.
