WBC's head wishes for Janibek Alimkhanuly to fight for their title, currently held by Dominican Carlos Adames. On February 22 in Saudi Arabia, Adames will face British fighter Hamza Shiraz.
Additionally, during this trip, Alimkhanuly and Shiraz agreed on a fight: if Hamza defeats Adames, they will meet in a bout for three titles!
Alimkhanuly last fought on October 4 in Sydney (Australia), where he finished New Zealander Andrei Mikhailovich (21-1, 13 KOs) in the ninth round.
